The Cairns Road Runners and Triathlon Club David Todd Memorial Bursary assist Cairns Road Runners junior members who have competed at a State or State School Championship, National or National School Championship, or at an International Championship. The bursary was set up in 1987 to honour to the late David Todd (Cairns Road Runner member and promising junior athlete).
In 2014, Cahn Butler-Channel and John Gordon were each awarded $500; in recognition of their their hard work during 2013 in representing their schools and regions at state-level championships. Cairns Road Runners is proud of all young runners and actively encourages participation by all.
Applications for the 2015 David Todd Memorial Bursary are now open. Please follow the LINK HERE to access the application form, which includes detailed information on how to apply. Applications will remain open until 28 February 2015. Recipient(s) will be announced at the Rock (race three) on Saturday 14 March.
