K9 Challenge – SOLO RUNNERS NOW WELCOME

SOLO Runners are now invited to participate in the K9 Challenge this Sunday 25 October. You don’t need a dog but if you would prefer some K9 company – entrant categories include a Small (<10kg), Medium (10-25kg) or Large (>25kg) breed category and have the option of a 3k or 6k event that takes in the northern environs of the Cairns Esplanade.
Our Event Sponsor is Petstock, Mugrave Road. Petstock will be giving away gift vouchers on the day to the 1st finishers of both distances that run with a dog. The entry fee of $10 for ALL Runners, (ie: 100% of the total entry fees) and any other contributions will be donated to Petstocks choice charity – North Queensland Animal Rescue (NQAR).
Freshie Handicap – Race 2
Sunday 1 Nov – 7.00am
The second Freshie Handicap is just around the corner. The course is the same as the 1st – a little off road and a little on road hopefully seeing runners cross the line at the same time after running the 5km distance The event starts at Ryan Weare Park, Freshwater and is sponsored by Cock & Bull.
