The calendar is here…
After much collaboration with other local sports clubs, and taking into consideration club resources and members needs, the calendar has been set for 2016. See HERE for direct access to the event details and registrations. Events in the immediate future are currently being tweaked with some changes to our upgraded online system, and will be available in the next few weeks for registration. Your patience is appreciated while the volunteers within the Club iron out a few bumps in the system.
Glossy copies will be available from Wednesday night social runs as well as at Australia Day Sign-on. (Or simply click anywhere you see the above calendar icon).
BUT! We need Race Coordinators to guarantee we can put on all these fabulously scheduled events, without your help we can’t run events. Race Coordinators do….
- Coordinate Volunteers
- Ensure the course markings are set up
- Help promote the event
- Arrange for catering to be available
- Orchestrate check-in, timing, presentations
- Ensure entrants are welcomed and provide pre-race brief
The Club already has some dedicated volunteers who have created Race Packs, setup online registrations, coordinated permits. Please consider nominating yourself (or family member) to be a part of this great Club, you can even share the role with a friend or we can find you an experienced past coordinator to mentor you. Its not a hard job for one person – one race. When we can share the load amongst the Club we have lots of happy runners!
