RACE ONE – NOW OPEN……
Please note the following information:
- Registrations close on Friday 13 Feb at 8:00pm. There are no on-day entries accepted.
- Race day check in opens at 3:15pm and closes at 3:45pm (please note that if you arrive after check in closes you will not be able to run).
- Race briefing will be 3:50pm.
- 5km race commences at 4:00pm / 3km race commences at 4:30pm.
This three race series to help you build up your distance and PB.
Held at the ever popular The Rocks Picnic Area, competitors run as hard and fast as they want along the shaded, flat, traffic-free course and cool off in the beautiful creek at the finish line. This series caters for all runners, with it being a great way to kick-start your New Year’s resolution to be more active.
Throughout these races, there will be spot prizes up for grabs for all entrants, drawn randomly after each event, and many thanks to event sponsor Tint-a-Car Cairns. Top competitors will accumulate points which go towards the series points. Series winners will be recognised at race three.
