It was another pleasant Sunday morning at Cattana Wetlands for the annual members 5k handicap. Once again chocolates were up for grabs as well as the usual post race nibblies. All runners finished within 3 minutes of each other apart from our winner Alyssa Atfield who absolutely blew the field away running off the front.
Alyssa (28.22 nett) beat her handicap time by some 4 minutes to give no one else a chance. Marie Pin (27.41) was second home and Lara Atfield (25.17) made it a family affair finishing third just in front of Sarah Dart (27.31).
The fastest nett time was Jarrod Ausburn (18.48) just in front of Dave Wall (18.53).
Thanks everyone for coming out, and thankyou to Maddi, Jo, Sarah, Sue and Jarrod for helping out on the morning.
