Cheers to everyone who came out and helped make this years Goldsborough Gallop the best one yet! Stunning trail, perfect running conditions and a hearty breakfast. Does it get any better?? I’m sure we can all agree it’s sweet to be back on the trails! This year the 10km and 17km events were equally popular and hotly contested, with the number of overall competitors being a record 67 for this event. It’s amazing what the lure of pancakes and sausages does to any runner.
Juniors spectators were envious of the fun being out in the field, so Race Director Jarrod spontaneously organised the one-off “Goldsborough Dash”. After completing a lap around the day use area, the fastest male and female junior were awarded with the much sort after Roadies Caps. But the biggest highlight was the generous hi-5’s being handed out to the crowd.
