Our annual introduction to trail running is fast approaching! Sprinting off at 4.30pm (make sure you are there for Check-in between 3.30pm and 4pm) this event is for both younger and older runners. Younger runners are welcome but where appropriate we recommend an adult running with them. Safety first of course!
A great way to meet friends and put some dust (or mud) on your trail running shoes and kick off the 2018 season.
How does it work? Well, basically you have up to an hour in which to run as many circuits as possible around the marked course. For each lap, you will be given a rubber band.
Where is this all happening? Meet at the car park almost at the end of McGregor Road, Smithfield, just past the turn off to the James Cook University (if you end up at AJ Hackett Bungy you have gone too far!). See the map of the Smithfield Trail Race venue and run course HERE.
Volunteers needed! No event can run without your help! We will need some help to set up and pull down a marquee, table and chairs pre and post race (you can do this even if you are running).
